Rihanna sends fans into a frenzy as she goes Christmas shopping in Barbados wearing a patterned suit

She's one of the most famous solo artists in the entire world, but when Rihanna is back in her home country of Barbados, the singer likes to keep things real.
Her fans couldn't believe their eyes when they spotted the Pour It Up star indulging in a last-minute festive shopping spree on Christmas Eve.
The 25-year-old headed to Cave Shepherd, the largest department store in the Caribbean in order to stock up on a few gifts.

The stunning star looked like she had dressed for the catwalk, wearing a checked two-piece suit which consisted of a cropped blazer and baggy drawstring trousers, with nude heels.

She showed off her toned tum in a mesh bralet which she accompanied with a series of gold necklaces and bracelets.
Rihanna was spotted carrying a vanity case and a soft child's toy and she smiled as she was surrounded by eager fans who took pictures of her on their phones.

Rihanna is currently on holiday with her family in Barbados and in October she bought a $22million beachside home on the island - after renting the property last year.
She returns to the place she was born and raised every Christmas and no doubt she's enjoying some time off from her hectic working schedule.
Earlier in the day, she uploaded a picture of herself wrapping presents while smoking a roll-up and lip synching to Mariah Carey.
She wrote: 'Lip synching to @mariahcarey Christmas album is my favorite thing to do at this kinda time!!! #MERRYCHRISTMAS.'

Rihanna has a lot to look forward to as she is nominated for two Grammy Awards at the January 26 event at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
She's up for Best Urban Contemporary Album, for Unapologetic, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her single Stay, which features Mikky Ekko.
She's also set to front French fashion line, Balmain and on December 17th, she took to Twitter to express her excitement.
She wrote: 'Guess who's the new BALMAIN Woman???!!!!!!! #BALMAIN #MommaImadeIt #CaribbeanGalRunTing @orousteing'
The singer, who has a hand in designing her own range of outfits for River Island, will be the face of label’s Spring 2014 range, which launches next month.
